How to make our products anti-racist
I had the opportunity to attend two great tech conferences: Afrotech by Blavity Inc. and Critical UX by HmntyCntrd®. I came away from both asking myself:
❓ How do we, as members of a product team, make not only our company’s culture antiracist but our products?
❓ And how do we make this not just the job of only BIPOC designers, product managers, and engineers but ALL of the product team’s responsibility?
✨ The solution, build the muscle: Make antiracist design a part of our everyday practice. Or/and create a product team dedicated to identifying racism within our technology and solving those specific problems.
